To avoid holding excess stock, each hat is made to order ~ ensuring I use only the wool I need.

INSTRUCTIONS

Wool doesn’t need to be washed often ~ try to spot clean with cool water, and air out when possible.

If your hat definitely needs a clean, gently handwash in cool water with wool wash, then rinse. Gently squeeze out as much water as you can without warping the knit too much. Squeeze excess water out by pressing between a folded towel, then dry flat on a clean towel.

If your hat has stretched a little, you can handwash in warm water. In extremely stretched hat emergencies, you can put in the dryer for ONE MINUTE intervals, until it has shrunk back to your desired size.

Avoid direct sunlight as this may cause colour fade. All colours have been fixed prior to my knitting the yarn, but dampness could cause colour transfer.
